The Riverside Apartment is a self-contained apartment as part of a traditional English Pub, which is over 300 years old. It is set on the River Severn in the beautiful village of Apperley in Gloucestershire and has uninterrupted views of the river and countryside.

The Coalhouse Inn, which is home to 'Steak on a Stone' is a friendly village pub and restaurant which offers an alternative to cooking yourself. So-called because of its history of coal distribution along the river, we hope you'll enjoy afternoons on the jetty or in the garden in this secluded countryside location.

On foot you can enjoy countryside walks and explore the pleasant villages of Apperley and Deerhurst, known for the Anglo Saxon Odda's Chapel. By car you are ideally situated to visit the nearby medieval market town of Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, famous for its racecourse, the cathedral city of Gloucester or any of the Cotswold villages. Such as Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold or Borton-on-the-Water. Also within reach is Stratford-Upon-Avon with its Shakespearean connections.
